You Can't Go Wrong With A Classic

Bambulei has continued to include in their inventory some popular clothing items that I like to call our "Bambulei Classics".  These items include the Tea Timer by Kalakaua, the Movie Star Tee by Carilyn Vaile,  the Linen "pull-on" Crop Pant by Color Me Cotton, the Coconut Button Wrap and the Beaded Slippers by Meeka.

The CMC Linen "Pull-On" pant has a page dedicated to keeping you updated with the colors available and the newest colors for the next season.  I will be adding other dedicated pages for the remaining Bambulei Classics.  These pages will give you more information on the product, colors available, sizing and fabric information.

The Bambulei website is another place you can go for more photos as well as ordering options.

So, have fun choosing your new favorite colors for your old favorite items!

Back from the Ruffles & Rust Show & 3 Cities

It's been a busy first two months of 2011.  I just got back from a 2-week buying trip to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Seattle.  The new spring '11 collections were plentiful.  I found the most unique items for Bambulei that I know you will want to wear.

My last stop was Seattle where I helped my sister, Jane, in her booth at the Ruffles & Rust Show in Monroe, WA.  Ruffles & Rust can be described as fancy cowgirls (and boys) that like rusty, whitewashed,  items with ruffles!  Not really, it's hard to visualize so take a look at the photos of my sisters booth, Valley Vintage.  It was about 36 degrees the first night they opened.  I got to wear a vintage beaver coat from Jane's collection of vintage furs that she brought to sell.  It kept me warm and toasty.  Her criteria for what inventory she decided to bring was "an assortment of items that represent Valley Vintage".

Some unique vintage items and new items (shoes, jewelry and clothing) will be coming into the shop this week so stop by and see what's new and unique in Bambulei.

Christmas Cottage

This December Bambulei was magically transformed into a Vintage Christmas Cottage.  Santa's elves came in and sprinkled glitter, hung vintage tinsel, added garland to every nook and cranny, then added hundreds of twinkling lights.  Wait...did I write elves?  Oops, it was Liane and Valerie with help from some elves named Brad, Napoleon, Betty, Russell, Donovan, Jenny and Bonnie.

I would like to thank all of you who visited the Christmas Cottage in December and I hope you enjoyed it as much as Liane and I enjoyed creating it.  I think that next year we should put up more lights , glitter and tinsel.  What do you think Liane?  There's never enough glitter, right?
